EnableTech is a project-based organization that designs and builds assistive technologies for people with disabilities. Our goal is for engineering students to collaborate with need-knowers, who either have a disability or are very familiar with a disability. We provide groups with space, materials, and other resources to turn their idea into a solution that could significantly improve the lives of many people.
After noticing that many assistive technology class projects at UC Berkeley were being left unfinished or as barely-working-prototypes at the end of each semester, we decided to create a group that would allow class projects to continue once the semester ends.
